Don’t Let Bad Advice Ruin Your Tattoo
Believe it or not there are some people out there that love giving advice about subjects they know nothing about. We call these people know it alls. So don’t let a know it all tell you the wrong advice when it comes to your tattoo. A vast majority of people are simply unaware that you actually have to take care for your tattoo and that there are several things you should not do and several things you should stay away from.
First and foremost you should ask your tattoo artist for a clear after care instructions after you have gotten your tattoo. Secondly, you must be gentle and careful with your new tattoo. Do not scrub it with a wash cloth and do not submerge it in water. Absolutely do not go out in the sun and do not go swimming.
Another misconception about tattoos is that you should keep them bandaged up. This is not true at all. After the first hour has past after you have gotten your tattoo you should remove the bandage and don’t re-bandage. The only time you should bandaged it back up is if you can not avoid being out in the direct sun. But once you are out of the sun the bandage should come off.
The important thing to remember is to keep your tattoo clean and if it is possible keep your clothes from rubbing up against it until it heals up completely. And absolutely do not scratch your tattoo no matter how bad it may itch.

Celebrity Tattoo Regret: Megan Fox
Megan Fox has not come out and admitted she regrets one of her tattoos, but it’s pretty safe to assume she is majorly regretting that Brian tattoo she has on her pelvic area. Megan and fiance, Austin Green have officially called off their engagement and have broken up. So it is pretty safe to say Megan is asking herself, “What was I thinking?”
This is a prefect example to every young woman and man out there. Just because you have been with someone for years and are committed to each other and plan to marry, things can still go wrong. So Megan is now left with a few choices, one get her Brian tattooed removed by laser tattoo removal or have it covered up with another tattoo. While the cost of the laser tattoo removal is no concern to Megan because she has the money to do so. She may opt to cover it up. However, if she decideds to cover up that tattoo with a new tattoo it will have to be twice the size if not three times the size of the her current Brain tattoo to properly cover it up.
So take this as a lesson learned to anyone out there that wants to be over romantic and get a tattoo of a lover’s name. Simply do not do it. You honestly never know how things will turn out and you don’t want to be left with a permanent reminded of that ill-fated relationship you want to leave in the past.

Think Twice About A Tattoo On Your Stomach
A lot of young woman think it is a great idea to get a cute little butterfly tattooed somewhere on their stomach more than likely the pelvic area. But what these young woman don’t realize is if they were to get pregnant one day their tattoo will never look the same again. This is why you need to think things through before you get a tattoo. While the pelvic area on a woman is a very sexy place for a tattoo it’s probably not the best place.
Several woman have shared their experiences with their stomach tattoos and most of them did not turn out to well. They all admit that while they were pregnant the tattoo looked just fine because it stretched and grew with their stomach. However, after the baby is born the tattoo tends to never be the same. Some woman report theirs being a little distorted, while several others experienced stretch marks going through their tattoo. In case the stretch marks happen you maybe be able to have your tattoo artist touch up the areas. But once the tattoo is distorted there probably isn’t any going back from there.
To help prevent your tattoo from looking too awful, some woman suggest making sure you moisturized your tattoo while your are pregnant and after the baby has been born rubbing vitamin E on it. The one thing that needs to be kept in mind is that every woman’s body reacts differently to pregnancy. So some woman may not have any problems with their tattoo while others do. Your best bet is to skip the whole stomach tattoo until after you are done having your children, that way you will not have to deal with it.

Celebrity Tattoos: Chris Brown
Chris Brown is in an awful mess these days dealing with the allegation of basically beating up girlfriend Rihanna. While Chris has remained pretty quiet about the whole incident, one thing is for sure he has a huge love for tattoos. He broke all sorts of laws when he was 13 years old when he got his very first tattoo.
Below is a list of Chris’ tattoos:
1. He has three stars behind his ear.
2. Jesus with the music notes on the upper part of his right arm, which Chris says signifies the gift to god gave him to sing.
3. The letter C (looks like a graffiti tag) and added a hand image on the upper part of his left arm. The hand means Chris holding his own name, his own destiny.
4. 2 ups 2 downs on his left arm under the C and hand.
5. A spray can underneath the 2 Ups and 2 Downs on his left arm.

7. A skull with a halo above it on his right hand.
8. A angel and a ninja on his right arm that are battling each other and in between them are the words Darkness to Light.
Chris explained the reasoning behind his angel and ninja tattoo.
“me being a kid but being bad, being with the wrong crowd, doing the wrong things, but following my own path. This is the demon that I used to fight when I was younger, this is the angel, they just battled.”
Chris is also quick to admit that his mother was not very pleased with him when he told her he wanted a tattoo when he was 13 and was even more angry when he went behind her back and got one anyways.

Why Do Foot Tattoos Fade So Quickly
There has been a lot of speculation about why foot tattoos seem to fade a heck of a lot faster than any other tattoo. Some say it is because your foot goes through a lot everyday. From sweating, to socks and shoes rubbing up against them. Also some people claim that since your feet tend to shed more skin more often its hard for the tattoo to heal. So if a foot tattoo is something that is of interest for you than you should know a few helpful little tips. First you should go with black ink or dark blue ink. These two inks are known to hold up a better on the foot as well as anywhere else on the body because they tend not to fade as quickly. Secondly, you should know that getting a tattoo on your foot is very painful. Some woman compare it to childbirth, while others say its not so bad. One of the coolest things about having a tattoo is that nine times out of ten no one else in the world will have the same tattoo as you. Well this can not be said for Rihanna anymore. If you remember correctly Rihanna has a Shhh…tattoo on her right index finger. Well it seems that Lily Allen and Lindsay Lohan now have the same Shhh…tattoo on their right index finger. Whether or not this was done on purpose no one knows for sure.

The two girls walked out of the tattoo parlor with matching Shhh…tattoos on their right index fingers. However, numerous people could say that they copied Rihanna. She has had her Shhh…tattoos for a long while now.
This is a great example of people not being able to come up with an original idea. When it comes to tattoos you don’t need to copy somebody else’s tattoos. Their tattoo is special to them in their own little way. So you should not deliberately go out and copy somebody else’s tattoo. Tattooing A Certain Body Part May Become Illegal
One of the greatest things about tattoos is that you have control over every aspect of the tattooing process. From what your tattoo design will be and where you want your tattoo to reside for the rest of your life. Well this all may change for the state of Oklahoma. Oklahoma is taking serous action against getting one body part considered illegal to get tattooed. The body part they are trying so hard to make illegal getting tattooed is the white part of the eyeball. A Senate panel has already passed the bill to prohibited this body part from being tattooed, all that is needed now to make it official is to have the full Senate pass the bill.
However, lawmakers are quick to admit that this practice of tattooing the white part of the eyeball has not caught on by too many citizens of the state of Oklahoma. Several do fear this practice may caught on in their beloved state, due to the fact that several people living on both east and west coasts have eye tattoos.
Besides the awful pain and discomfort a tattoo in this area would cause it can also cause an even worse reaction, blindness. Ophthalmologist’s say this procedure is very dangerous and should not be able to be practiced. It not only can cause loss of vision but it is also susceptible to easy infection. So if you live in the state of Oklahoma and are dead set on getting a tattoo on your eye then you will more than likely have to travel out of the state to get this tattoo done.

Danica Patrick’s Tattoo Is No Where To Be Found In Sports Illustrated
Strangely enough more magazines than you think tend to airbrush their cover girls and guys as well as any one else that may appear in the magazine, if they have some noticeable ink on them. This didn’t seem to be such a huge concern until an incident happened eight years ago with Hoop Magazine. Hoop Magazine featured Allen Iverson’s on the cover of their magazine one month and had one of the basketball stars tattoos airbrushed off so it wouldn’t appeared on the cover. A huge controversy soon came about after this. Thus requiring magazine’s to get the person’s permission to make their ink disappear if they feel it harms the image of the magazine.
With that being said, don’t worry if you think you are losing your mind, if you have seen a small tattoo on Danica Patrick’s lower back before. The Indy car driver most certainly has a tramp stamp if you will on her lower back. Danica Patrick proudly displays a fairly small American flag tattoo on her lower back. Well if you caught the glimpse at the latest Sports Illustrated Swim Suit Edition you will notice that her tattoo is surprisingly missing. It seems that Sports Illustrated didn’t feel right about printing the photos of Danica in her swim suit with her tattoo showing. So the magazine got Danica’s permission to airbrush the tattoo into nonexistence. This act is fairly surprising since her tattoo is not offensive and shows American support. Either way for whatever reason SI felt it was necessary to remove Danica’s tattoo.

Celebrity Tattoos: Fred Durst
Limp Bizkit has decided to get back together and put aside their difference and make a new album that will drop sometime this year. They have decided to get back together and put out another album because they feel there is no good music out right now. One thing is for sure, Limp Bizkit’s front man Fred Durst has a huge love for tattoos. Before his metal/hip hop band, Limp Bizkit made it big Fred actually worked as a tattoo artist.
