Are Tattoos More Popualar Now A Days?

For those people who do not approve of tattoos and simply think they are trashy and unattractive probably do not understand the growing popularity of tattoos. But there is a big question floating around. Are tattoos more popular now? and Will they also remain so popular? The answer the those questions are noand maybe. A survey showed in 2007  that 36 percent of 18 to 25-year-olds and 40 percent of 26 to 40-year-olds have at least one tattoo. This percentage was the same as a survey that was done in the fall of 2006. As far as tattoos becoming less popular. That is harder to answer. Some people think that the popularity will go down a bit but it won’t stop people from getting tattooed all together.

Some of you maybe be wondering why so many people are getting tattoos. Is it a fashion statement, self-expression or people just following a fad. The truth of the matter is the answer is yes to all of those questions. People get tattoos for all sorts of reason. A lot view it as a form a self-expression, while others want to be hip and get a tattoo because their favorite celebrity has one. Whatever someones reasoning for getting a tattoo is their own business. But just so you know tattoos are not limited to criminals, bikers and bad boys anymore. Tattoo artist see a variety of people walk into their studios wanting a tattoos, like businessmen, soccer moms, and college students.

If you decided to become part of the percentage of people that are getting tattooed, keep in mind there is a fair amount of people visiting laser tattoo removal places to get those unwanted tattoos removed. So this just proves you need to be extra careful and 150% sure you can live with your tattoo for the rest of your life. Because you might have to endure 12 to 15 tattoo removal sessions to get that tattoo removed.
