Unfortunately. there isn’t any life changing advantages of having a tattoo, otherwise everyone who walked this earth would have one. However, there are a few unconventional advantages of having some body ink that might actually save your life one day. The best advantage for having a tattoo is, it gives you a chance to express yourself  in any which a way you want. Another advantage of having a tattoo is, it can help your parents god forbid identify you if something god awful happened to you.

Having tattoos can also give parents a heads up on whether their children are hanging out with some gang members because 9 times out of 10 a gang member will have some sort of very noticeable tattoo to show their loyalty to their gang. This can not only help you protect your children from joining a gang but it can also help you to inform police if you notice kids hanging around your neighborhood that are displaying gang tattoos. Another great advantage to you, but a major disadvantage to criminals is having a distinct tattoo. A lot of robber’s, attacker and murderers are found because of a distinct tattoo that their victim noticed on them.

So the next time you jump to conclusions about tattoos being bad and distasteful you might want to thank your lucky stars that so many people have them. You honestly never know, a tattoo may end up being the only life line you have to finding a loved one or from protecting your family from harm.
