Things You Should Know About Black and Color Ink Tattoos

There are a 100 tattoo colors that you can choose from when getting a tattoo but believe it or not some colors are better than others. The best color tattoo ink to go with is just simple old black. Black ink seems to hold up better and doesn’t fade near as fast as color ink and an added plus is black ink tattoo most of the time is cheaper than color ink tattoos.

If black ink tattoos are not your thing and you want to add a little bit of color to your body with a color ink tattoo that is fine too. The best color ink that seems to hold up the best is blue ink. Both blue and black ink are the most stable of all the tattoo colors out there. The pigment being darker seems to help it maintain its color and brilliance longer than any other color. The two colors to stay away from are red and yellow. These two colors seem to fade the fastest and not look as good as it ages. Also a lot of people have reported having mild to serve allergic reactions to red tattoo ink. These people have had other tattoos and not had any problems with them. There just seems to be something about the red ink that doesn’t sit well with people. So to be on the safe side stay away from red.

Lastly, if you want your tattoo’s color to remain as sharp as it can the most important thing is to keep it moisturized and to limit your time in the sun. If you love being in the sun you may want to stick with a black or blue tattoo, but keep in mind you still have to apply a sunblock of 45 or higher to it to help it from fading.

I am getting a new tattoo that was a present from my Hubby and it is going to be a Geisha with some cherry blossoms which I love. I just can’t do those in black ink. They seem unfinished to me. Now I have to figure out what colors for sure to go with which is difficult. I may use some gray in the kimono and definitely black for the hair but I need to use accent colors so I’ll have to see what we wind up with. I am really looking forward to it.

sometimes an individual will try to reject a certain color red, blue, green, but if you want red ink,red ink is what you get if you you dont take red ink well, i would try some different brands never use organic ink and plan on a touch up to make it perfect. a slightly darker or lighter pigment might be needed to create the desired effect.

I have 2 tattoos with red, one is all red, and the other is red and black, the colour is good, very bright, wearing well. depends on the artist perhaps, but if its red you want, then go with it.
