One of the worst possible things that can happen to someone who is receiving a text tattoo is that the tattoo accidentally gets misspelled. This actually happens a lot more often than one would think. This is why it is so very important that you make sure you have the correct spelling of the tattoo and that your tattoo artist is aware of how to spell the word or words. When they put the tattoo transfer paper on you and ask if this is ok, this is when you do a mental spell check to make sure they have it spelled correctly. If they don’t spell it correctly, this it the perfect time to speak up and let them know.

This mostly happens with tattoos that are done in a different language. So if you are dead set on getting a text tattoo in a different language make darn sure you have got the correct spelling. This is something that Hero’s hottie, Hayden Panettiere did not do. Hayden has a tattoo doing down her side that reads “Vivere senza rimipiantic” which is suppose translate to live without regret in Italian. However the tattoo was misspelled so it really means nothing. Hayden has admitted that its no sweat off her back because she can’t really see her tattoo, so it’s not like she has to look at it all the time and be reminded of it. She also said she would more than likely get it fixed at some point in time. She brushes the misspelling off as putting her own spin on it. This is a great way to think, also unless someone knows Italian they will never know.
